Expanding beyond the classroom

In addition to the educational programs, the Same Polytechnic College campus will support several of our other programs and activities as part of our greater effort to end poverty in the region. While the primary activities of these development and outreach programs will extend beyond higher education, the issues they address will be in many of the same fields as the College's educational programs. Housing these program on campus allows us to save costs and increase efficiency through sharing specialized facilities such as offices, labs and workshops as well as equipment and materials. It also presents an opportunity for our staff and volunteers in these programs to work with the faculty and students on a day to day basis. Where possible, the hands-on learning experiences in the curriculum will be paired with the efforts of these development and outreach programs consistent with the College's goals of promoting effective citizenship. To learn more about these other programs, visit our Projects page.
